View Live (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a live-streaming and social application operated by View Live Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using View Live, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information — your name, email address, and profile details you provide, such as nickname, gender, date of birth, country, profile photo, and “about me” description.
Google Sign-In — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture from Google.
Content you create — profile and album photos, chat messages, live-stream comments and reactions, and other content you submit.
Live streams — when you broadcast or join a live stream, your camera video and microphone audio are transmitted in real time to other participants over an encrypted connection. Live audio and video are not stored by us after the session ends.
Virtual items & transactions — records of coins, gifts, and related in-app transactions and, for agents, earnings and withdrawal requests.
Device & technical information — a push-notification token, IP address, and basic network information, used to deliver notifications and to keep the service secure.
Usage information — in-app activity such as follows, reactions, and feature usage, used to operate and improve the service.
2. Device permissions
Camera & Microphone — to let you broadcast and take part in live streams.
Notifications — to send push notifications you have enabled.
Network & Bluetooth — for connectivity and audio routing to speakers or headsets.
We do not collect your device location. The country shown on your profile is one you select yourself.
3. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and profile.
To provide live streaming, chat, gifts, and social features.
To send notifications you have enabled.
To keep the service safe — moderation, preventing abuse, and security.
To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. Content you post — such as your profile, live streams, and comments — is visible to other users as part of the service. We use trusted service providers, including Google Firebase (push notifications) and Google Sign-In, that process data on our behalf to operate the app. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our users and the service.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, or deletion of, your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will action verified requests in line with applicable law.
6. Children
View Live is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
We protect your data in transit using encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Live audio and video use encrypted WebRTC (DTLS-SRTP) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
